Our stunning collection of vintage Berber Baskets have been hand picked on our recent trips to Morocco. Each piece is handmade and unique which is why we fell in love with each and every one of them.
Made by the Berbers of the Middle Atlas Mountains they are traditionally used to carry dough and bread to and from the public bakeries – a daily custom seen throughout Morocco.
The basket is very sturdy made of wicker, wrapped in recycled plastic (easy to wash) in a lovely pattern.
This unique piece of tribal art will add a touch of ethnic style to your home.
Both tall lidded baskets and round shallow baskets these hand-woven works of art add a beautifully authentic touch on a bookshelf, a table, or adorning a wall.
Size: approx. diameter 50 cm (19.68”) and tall 10 cm (3.93”)
Material: wicker and recycled plastic
